   Spanish tenor and actor, he studied in Bologna with Paride Venturi and in Saint Petersburg (Russia) with Elena Rubin. From 2000-2004, he trained as an actor at the Juan Carlos Corazza Actor’s Studio and he obtained in 2009 a BA in singing at the Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid.  He is currently studing the Master in Spanish Music (performative and investigation) expanding his knowledge about the nineteenth and twentieth spanish opera in Madrid (RCSMM).













    



Lyric-spinto tenor with a voice in continuous development, he has attended master classes with prestigious opera professionals, specially intense in the last years with the renowned tenor Salvatore Fisichella

José Moisés Molín has successfully performed the roles of Alfredo, Ismaele, Cassio, Canio, Count Danilo, Riccardo, Cavaradossi, Turiddu, Florestan, Pinkerton, Calaf and Don José. 

In 2015,  José Moisés Molín  has received the First prize at The Zamboki International Competition of Vocal Arts in Jerusalem (Israel). 



   During these initial debut years Moises has appeared in over a thousand concerts and he has gained valuable experience performing leading roles in more than three hundred opera productions in Spain, France, Austria, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Russia, Japan, Israel, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Serbia, Croatia, Greece, Malta, Romania and Portugal.

   Tenor José Moisés Molín began his first professional decade singing at the LaeiszHalle MusikHalle Hamburg and debuting in Munich as Ismaele in Nabucco in 2008/2009; closing this period, in which he has built his repertoire, with his debut in the Golden Hall of the Wiener Musikverein and with his debut in Santiago de Compostela as Radames in Aida in 2018/2019.

     The 2018 professional schedule was very special for Moisés. In february, he has sung at the Musikverein Goldener Saal in Wien, at the Mozarteum Grosser Hall in Salzburg and at the Croatian Music Institut in Zagreb in the Mozart Requiem conducted by Miran Vaupotic

   In 2018/2019 he has participated in the recording of the last cd of Joaquín Pixan & Orquesta Reino de Aragón. He has performed at the Sala Mozart Auditory of Zaragoza. In opera Moises Molin he has also performed in the new PromÓpera productions as Alfredo in La Traviata, as Cavaradossi in Tosca (Debut in Spain. Dir.: Michael Köhler), as Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly and he has made his debut as Radames in Aida. He has been engaged this season as Tony in West Side Story (Debut) and as Danilo in The Merry Widow (Debut) also in Spain.  In addition he has started a new opera and zarzuela concert tour which will take him to several mediterranean cities such as Murcia with the Antología de la Zarzuela, Alicante and Benidorm with the Fundación CAM, Valetta (Malta)for the Valletta European Capital of Culture 2018, Sicily, Israel and several spanish cities.

    After three intensive weeks training as an actor with Joyce Henderson at Teatro Real in Madrid Moises has begun 2017 with a Holocaust Memorial Concert at Kolarac Concert Hall in Belgrade and he has sung for the first time in Malta. In 2017 he has returned to the XX Ribadesella International Chamber Music Festival and he was engaged for some 40 opera and zarzuela concerts in spanish cities. In the past two seasons he has performed as Cavaradossi (Tosca) in Jerusalem, he has performed as Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), as Don Jose (Concert version of Carmen) and he has produced and coproduced The Maria Callas Tribute, The Pavarotti Gala, Divissimas, Carmen&Flamenco... and many others divulgative spectacles in Madrid. He has performed Traviata and "Quadri d’Opera" in Milazzo and he has offered opera concerts in Taormina, Jerusalem and Madrid.

   In 2014, he sang Cavaradossi at the Teo Otto Theater Remscheid and Kulturgemainde Weinheim (Germany) with great success of public and critic. In February 2014, Molín sang Nabucco in Mannheim at the  Rosengarten Congress Centrum. Other appearances as Ismael during 2014 include the cities of Ottobrunn, Buchholtz, Amberg and Oradea / Bihor. In 2013/2014 season he made his debut in the role of Mario Cavaradossi (Tosca) at the Teatrul Regina Maria Oradea (Romania) and also his debuts as Riccardo (Un ballo in maschera), Turiddu (Cavalleria rusticana) and Calaf (Turandot) in Spain.

       In 2013, he made his debut with La del Manojo de Rosas in Navarra for the AGAO at the Teatro Gaztambide in Tudela and at the Auditorio Baluarte in Pamplona, and also at the Teatro Principal in Alicante and Teatro Circo in Albacete. From June 2012, he has been featured in the play “Los Divinos” along the violin player Ara Malikian and he sang as soloist tenor for the José Tamayo’s inspired Antología de la Zarzuela in the main theaters of Alicante, Vitoria Gasteiz, Logroño and Murcia. In 2011, he sang Ismaele (Nabucco) at the Wiener Stadthalle (Austria), Don Jose (Carmen) at the Stadttheater of Amberg (Germany) and Florestan (Fidelio) in Madrid.

      In 2011, he sang the leading roles in two productions of La Traviata and Madame Butterfly at the Teatro de Madrid with great public success. He has returned for five years to take part in the revival of these productions in different theaters in the capital of Spain. In 2011, he sang the premier of Madame Butterfly at the ADDA Auditorio of Alicante. In 2010, he was invited for the third consecutive year to sing at the Laeiszhalle Musikhalle/Elbphilarmonie of Hamburg.

   Since 2010, José Moisés Molín has been regularly appearing in different open air productions of Nabucco in Germany and Austria, including the performances at the Munich Residenz (2010 and 2011), Burghausen Fortress, the Donau Arena in Ingolstadt and the Austrian abbeys of Kremsmünster and Seitenstetten.

        In 2009, he has performed Cassio (Otello) and Alfredo (Traviata) at the Salamanca Hall in Gifu (Japan). 

   In the same year, he made his Italian debut in the same role at the Teatro Vittorio Emanuele of Messina (Sicily) in a number of educational performances of La Traviata. In 2008, he was invited to sing for the first time Ismaele (Nabucco) at the Royal Palace in Munich, Germany. Early roles include among others Don Ottavio, Duka di Mantova, Rodolfo, Paco in Falla´s La Vida breve, King Kasper in Menotti´s Amahl, Cardenio in Julián Molina Mir´s spectacle about Don Quijote and some spanish zarzuela roles Don Luis de Haro in Barbieri´s El Barberillo de Lavapiés, Ricardo el aviador in La del Manojo de rosas, Giuseppini in El dúo de la africana Jesus in Gigantes y Cabezudos, Juan Luis in Jacinto Guerrero´s El huésped del Sevillano and Enrique de Gorbea in El último Romántico.

 


In Spain, Italy and Mexico, paralell to his stage career, he is currently developing his own educational project, Ópera y Vida Sostenible, an initiative which aims to fostering the love for opera among the young, in privileged natural enclaves, in order to secure a public for great opera’s productions.

  José Moisés Molín  has also appeared in leading roles and opera recitals in cities such as Köln, Landshutt, Regensburg, Vöringen, Passau (Dreiländerhalle), Fussen (Festpielthaus), Bologna, Lisboa, Porto, Madrid, Bilbao, Vitoria Gasteiz, Alicante, Sevilla, Santiago de Compostela, Pontevedra, Lugo, Orense, Zamora, Valladolid, Zaragoza, Murcia, León, Toledo, Albacete, Castilla la Mancha (rete di teatri), Madrid (rete di teatri) ed nella sua terra Asturias (Gijón, Oviedo, Ribadesella, Cangas del Narcea, Siero...) among others. 

He has performed in concerts at the Global Center Auditorium and at the Academic Kappella of Saint Petersburg (Russia), at the Auditorio 

Nacional of Madrid, at Coliseo dos Recreios of Lisbon, at Kolarac Concert Hall Belgrad (Serbia), at Laeiszhalle Musikhalle/Elbphilarmonie of Hamburg (Germany), at La Casa de España de Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic) and at the Niokastro Castle in Pylos Navarino (Greece). 

In Mexico, he has sung at the main theaters in Celaya Guanajuato. 

In the city of Jerusalem (Israel) in 2015 and in 2016 he has performed at Gerard Behar Theater, Leo Model Hall and Mishkenot Sha´ananim Musical Center.

     

  As an actor, José Moisés Molín  has worked with film director Liberto Rabal in the films "Huellas" and "La Esquina". Last year he has also starred the awarded movie “El violín de piedra” (Emilio Ruiz Barrachina, 2015).
